TesterMob is a small team of developers in Istanbul and San Francisco. We connect people who build Android apps with people who are happy to try them, and pay them for it.
Why TesterMob exists
On November 13, 2023, Google Play changed how new personal developer accounts publish apps. Before going live, developers now have to run a closed test with a minimum number of testers who stay opted in for 14 days in a row. The number started at 20 and was later lowered to 12.
For large teams that’s easy. For solo developers, students and small studios, it often means weeks of asking friends to please open the app again today. We’re developers too, and we built TesterMob so that step takes days of work off your plate instead of adding them.
What we believe
- Testing should be real. Real people, real phones, real feedback. That’s what helps your app, and it’s what Google is asking for.
- Testers deserve to be paid. Their time and attention have value, wherever in the world they live.
- Pricing should be simple. One price per app, stated up front.
- Be honest about limits. We help you run a good test. Google makes the final call on production access, and we’ll never pretend otherwise.
