What is TesterMob?
TesterMob connects Android developers who need testers for their Google Play closed test with people who want to earn money by testing apps. Developers get real, daily usage and feedback. Testers get paid in US dollars.
Why was TesterMob started?
Since November 13, 2023, new personal Google Play developer accounts must run a closed test with a minimum number of testers for 14 days before publishing. The number was 20 at first and is now 12. We built TesterMob to make that step easier.
Is TesterMob available worldwide?
Yes. Developers and testers can join from anywhere. Some apps may only be available in certain countries on Google Play.

For developers
How do I give my app to testers?
Add your app in the dashboard with its Google Play link. Testers request to join and share their Gmail address with you. Add those addresses to your closed test in Google Play Console, and testers can then install the app as real testers.
How much does it cost?
$9.99 per app, paid in Tether (USDT) from your own wallet.
Does TesterMob guarantee production access?
No. Google decides who gets production access. We give you real, active testers for the full 14 days plus activity data and feedback, which is what you need to answer Google’s questions well.
Do I have to use the SDK?
It’s strongly recommended. Without it, you can’t see tester activity in your dashboard. It’s a single .aar file and takes about ten minutes to add.
How does TesterMob make sure testing is good quality?
Testers must use the same Gmail account on TesterMob, Google Play and in your app, use it daily, and follow our testing guidelines. You can see their activity and feedback, and testers who break the rules lose access.
For testers
How do I become a tester?
Sign up with the Gmail account you use on your Android phone. Then request apps from the dashboard. Once a developer approves you, install the app from Google Play and start testing.
Do I need technical skills?
No. If you can use apps and describe what you notice, you can test. Clear, specific feedback is the most valuable skill.
What do I have to do each day?
Open each app you’re testing and use it for at least 20 minutes, every day for 14 days. Sign in with the same Gmail you registered with.
How much can I earn?
Most completed tests pay between $5 and $20, depending on the app. There’s no limit on how many apps you test or how much you earn.
How and when do I get paid?
In Tether (USDT), sent to your digital wallet between the 1st and 5th of each month. Earnings are in US dollars no matter where you live.
Can I suggest apps to test?
Apps come from developers who submit them. You can’t suggest apps, but you can choose which of the available apps to request.
About Google Play closed testing
What’s the difference between closed and open testing?
A closed test is invite-only: you choose who can join, usually by email list. An open test lets anyone join from your Play Store listing. The requirement for new personal accounts is specifically a closed test.
How do I set up a closed test in Play Console?
In Play Console, open your app, go to Testing, then Closed testing. Create a track, upload a build, add testers by email list, and share the opt-in link with them.
What happens if a tester leaves during the 14 days?
The 14 days only count while you have at least 12 opted-in testers. If you drop below that, the count can start again, which is why daily, committed testers matter.
What should I do after the 14 days?
Apply for production access in Play Console. Google asks about your test: who tested, what feedback you got, and what you changed. Keep your closed test running while you wait.
